Karina Bodnieks is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses on general liability, personal injury actions, insurance defense and coverage matters, premises liability, and construction claims.
Ms. Bodnieks received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Florida International University College of Law in May 2019 and Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Florida International University in May 2017, graduating with a major in liberal studies. While in law school, she was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts, Legal Skills and Values II and III, and Employment Discrimination.
During law school, she served as a research assistant to professors within Florida International University College of Law and legal intern to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, aiding appellate judges on issues of personal injury protection coverage involving insurance companies.
Ms. Bodnieks served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University School of Law.
Ms. Bodnieks is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
She has basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
